Bevezetés a művészettörténetbe

II/2: “Volt egy óránk, mikor elsősök voltunk, a Bevezetés a művészettörténetbe. Ezen az órán a vizsga a Művészettörténet órával ellentétesen zajlott. Ott az oktató mutatott egy képet, amelynek meg kellett mondani az alkotóját és a címét. Itt egy szerzőt és egy címet kaptunk, a művet pedig le kellett rajzolnunk. Ehhez a vizsgához az oktatónk a fekete-fehér Gombrich könyvet ajánlotta, mivel ebből könnyebb ceruzarajzzá alakítani a reprodukciókat. És festészetet kellett belőle tanulnunk. Azon akadtunk fenn, hogy hogyan lehet úgy festészetet tanítani 2015-ben, hogy a festmények legfontosabb attribútumát, a színt elvesszük? Ezután kitaláltuk, hogy csinálunk egy olyan képet, ami egy fekete-fehér reprón nem látszik. Ez lett a Felsorakoztatás.”

Introduction to the Art History

 II/2: ‘We had a class, in our first year, called Introduction to the Art History. In this class the exam was quite the opposite what we had in the Art History class. There the teacher showed us a picture and we had to tell the artist and the title of it. Here we got an author and a title and we had to draw the artwork. Our teacher suggested the black-and-white Gombrich book for this exam because this way it is easier to convert the reproductions into pencil drawings. And we had to study paintings from it. How can paintings be teached in 2015 without their most important attribute, the colour? After that we figured that we are going to paint a picture that can not be seen on a black-and-white reproduction. That is the Alignment.’
